What is Chimbá?
Chimbá is a South American coffee brand with six origins. Every 350 g tube carries the name of its country and its own cup profile, from bright and fruity to creamy and chocolatey.
What format does the coffee come in?
Recyclable 350 g paper tubes, whole bean, medium roast. Whole beans keep their aroma far better than ground coffee.
Why whole bean and not ground?
Because ground coffee loses its aroma within days. Grind right before you brew and the cup tastes much more like itself. More in how to store coffee beans.
Which origin should I pick first?
Check each tube's tasting notes in the shop: acidity, aroma and body. If you like bright and fruity, look for high acidity; if you prefer round and sweet, look for a creamy body. It helps to know what makes specialty coffee.
What is the Chimbá Box?
A green box with three tubes of the origins you choose. The easiest way to compare countries at home, or to gift coffee to someone who takes it seriously.
How does the loyalty card work?
Every tube or box you buy earns a heart. Eight hearts complete the card, and you redeem it for a free tube of any origin.
What is the best way to brew Chimbá coffee?
Whichever you enjoy most. For a clean, aromatic cup, try the V60 method; for a fuller body, the french press.
